Defi VSD Basis

Folks,

Anyone has any idea whether Defi VSD Basis can be installed on a E90?

I've asked a site sponsor workshop and have been advised that they are not sure it can be done as they're not familiar with Japanese electronics.

Any advice or a workshop recommendation would be great!

Hmmm...bro, it states that the production ended in 2007. Good luck trying to find one.

that time i asked Ah Tan (BKS) the same thing and he say cannot... i didn't try asking any other workshop though... sold mine in the end...

BKS might not be familiar with Contis i guez. Alan from BKS told me he can't say cannot for sure. But Defi gauges can be fitted on BMWs rite?

Hopefully it can be fitted on my E90, coz i've kinda formed the habit of not looking at the instrument cluster to see my speed hahaha!

Have you approached BVO? They installed the Defi gauges in my E46 previously....swee swee!!

This one is definitely helpful coz I'm in the market looking for a HUD unit as well for my new ride. Bloody tac shoes rpm right in the middle and the speedo on the right...so blardy tiny, can't tell if its 100 or 160.....

This one is definitely helpful coz I'm in the market looking for a HUD unit as well for my new ride. Bloody tac shoes rpm right in the middle and the speedo on the right...so blardy tiny, can't tell if its 100 or 160.....

yeah... the Defi VSD is definitely 1 of the better HUD units out there

Yeah, true. But not sure if I want the mechanic to wire the bugger up to my dash...do you know where does this device plug into? I know for sure its not the ciggie light plug.

yup, this one doesn't need the controller. But it does have it's own control unit. Still trying to find a place dat knows how to fit it.

And... how did u manage to spot my "tiger tail"? :yikess:

sometime back i saw a wrx with the tail.. then recently in the same area i spotted the same tail on a E90... was wondering if it was the same owner...

then u seem to fit the profile? don't worry i am not stalking u...

so to confirm it is possible to install in a bmw right? i managed to find one of these and wanted to install to my m3.
