My remembrance is
1 - if COE already have
2 - loan or payment already settled
3 - car registered
4 - they make the VRN plate and put up to car..

Max should be 3 days..
Unless “your” car is not here yet, or they could have pass your car to others..

If the 3 weeks is before above 4 items done, then may be possible as coe is only one month twice. Waiting already 2 weeks if missed the current one.

Eh, your registration means registering the vehicle right? Cannot be 3 weeks. As what he mentioned, 1-3 max after vehicle registration with LTA. The registration that the sales told you could be the successful coe bidding

I don’t see why they have to drag cos they can only clock this sale when you sign off for delivery. Maybe they are busy over last weeks expo sale. Still that should not be the reason. if they drag them u also drag Lor.
My experience was always 2-3 days before delivery. They don’t need a whole week to prep the car.

It shouldn’t be the case. Better to check with them why the delay. Unless the car has some issues. You may try to seek for some form of reimbursement. Also check your sales agreement if there’s any clause on registration and delivery.

Only thing I can say is that they will change priority as and when they deemed fit.
I would suggest that you get an explanation from your sales to assess the situation.

Maybe during the pre delivery inspection, they found some issues with the ride. And they may not have the parts to remedy. On the bright side, at least not going back to the workshop after collection if it’s really the case.

If container opens and no car inside, they wouldn’t secure the coe for you already. The vehicle should be at the compound already.

I can’t say for reasonable length of time for collection after registration but it has always been 1-2 days for me. If there is any delay for any sorts, they would not register the vehicle yet.

Anyway, it’s from AD ya? Good things are worth waiting and don’t stress too much over it. Next call could be from them asking you to collect.

Btw, which series you bought?

Because I drove a 1 series before, bought in 2015 aug.
Car already in singapore, first wait is 1~2 weeks for COE bidding. 1st bid, kena.
SE called me to ask when balance can cleared or passed him the IC to register my car.
All this happened, i think less than a week, i got my car already.

If they drag that long, there is a chance that the SE probably reg your car, with COE secured. But yet to arrange your car to go for “precheck”. Pml precheck their car before delivery, and this book slot to check may take up to 2 weeks to be done if lots of cars are queuing up to check...

I got my VW last year. COE secured and registered on 30th Oct. Collected on 2nd Nov. Ride was already in so they precheck before the COE I guessed. If collect 3-4 weeks AFTER registration, then I believe you should email to the PML HQ for clarification and possible compensation. No use pushing the SE or the Sales manager because their hands are tied. Good luck
