Hey brothers and sisters, I currently do not own a BMW. I registered in the forum to seek help on a very unfortunate incident that took place on 3rd Aug 2010 9pm @ Serangoon North Ave 4. A white BMW convertible traded paint with my car while my car was stationary at the traffic light. I guess he was trying to squeeze though but couldn't manage it without taking some of my car with him. I went down my car, and was about to confront him when he floored and drove off, shouting "never hit ahh!' There was clearly paint traded and is his big ass car too huge to feel the impact? What a jerk.
Any kind soul here would assist me in keeping BMW's driver reputation as respectable, pls give me his information as i would like to settle this with him myself. FYI, his car plate number is SGL6363S.

And the owner of SGL6363S, sorry to say, you may have the status to drive such a beautiful car, BUT you don't have the guts and responsibility to own up for whatever you did wrong.

hmmm....why do we have ppl joining to look for BMW drivers who get into accidents and scuffles with them.
sorry to be blunt, don't waste your time thinking the owner will reply to u after seeing this even if he or she is a member here.
anyway, just file a claim against the driver if u think there is a case since you have the vehicle number.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Hope that the owner is a forumer, could read this, and could contact you to resolve the case.

Not cool, if it happened as you described it.

Well, to be honest, don't fret about the badge eh.
Don't really care about BMW drivers' reputations in general.
Driving a bimmer doesn't make one more/less respectable.

Every make & model has it's fair share of a*hole drivers.
I've seen a*hole driving from Hyundais, Mercs, Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans,
And yes. from BMW & then some...

if is not serious then no point look for him. take it as hit & run. LL bad day lor.
drive BMW nothing la.. heard now Japanese car more expensive, i drive E36 Honda Vtec.

sorry to hear about your bad incident...........
we shared your anger (a born bad driver will always be a bad driver so it doesn't matter what brand of car he/she drives.............can even be roller blading dangerously)

Sorry to hear about that incident. Welcome to the BMW.SG community. I sincerely hope you enjoy your experience in this community so that any previous prejudices about BMW drivers may be erased :)

Ken traded paint with me... thats why his car also silver now. Didnt know how to do the top, so he had to sticker up to cover the untraded areas.

I also ganna hit & run before with no witness own hse MSCP; front bumper almost fallen off & dent in.

At least he got the number plate so still can do something about it quick.

You should contact your insurance immediately with the details. In addition please remember to bring your car down to an IDAC to file a damage report asap; many insurance companies now require this even for minor scrapes that you are not claiming for. The process is quick with a guy coming round to take pictures of the damage, etc.

The waiting time, however, zzzzzz....
