Hi Guys,
Any of you tried to change the internal aircon filter yourself? If yes, where is it located and how do you remove the filter? I normally change myself for the jap cars, but for BMW, i do not know how.

Not easy Bro .. need to have equipment to release the screws and to pry out panel as well. not really a handy job ...

Its below glove compartment. U need to open up the panel right above where the foot rests. Thereafter there’s few screws to take out to access to the filters. Do take note the filters has flow directions imdicated at the side of the filters. Ensure its replaced back in the correct direction. Cheerz

i was watching this yesterday and then coincidentally saw this thread...was wondering if the G30 would have the same location as i too wanted to diy but after watching the video...got cold feet..

Anybody know the difference between the aircon filter and microfilter? Are they the same?

This is so tedious. I used to change aircon filter on my Lexus, the filter is located inside the front passenger glove box. The process is really simple. I have a habit of changing aircon filter earlier than the recommended mileage.

Saw your oil changing thread, bravo to you [emoji123][emoji123][emoji106][emoji106]
