hi newbie here.
just wanna have a range of opinion of whether 19inch sacrifices too much ride comfort, drop power, up fuel consumption etc? F10 520 not much power anyway.
can't decide whether to upsize rims.

I thought f10 would look better with 20" ?

Yeah 20inch nicer and more proportionate looking. you will like it more after changing =)

I switched my E60's stock 18" rims and tires to light weight 19" ones. Due to its lighter unsprung weight, acceleration and fuel consumption was better. Didn't feel much difference in terms of comfort.

Welcome BMW-sg jw123 :wavey:

Personally will only upsize 1 notch up from stock... anything larger, too much sacrifices. IMHO of cents feedback.

Re: does 19inch for F10 520 sacrifices too much ride comfort and drop power?

up to personal preference.

since 520 has not much power anyway, if u want looks, go at least to 19". f10 is huge car. u dont want puny wheels.
but if u want ride comfort and power rentention, dont change. stick to stock.

changing from 17" to 18" in my opinion is a waste of money.
because it will not make much of a difference visually....most importantly when u see the next f10 next to you with 20"....u will drool and secretly lust for it...

that said, I second what M-noobie said.
17" with stock rims and runflats is probably same weight as 19" rims w normal tyres and lighter rims.

take ur time and choose what u want.

btw, u do a search, this question was asked a trillion times.

happy modding. YNWA

personal preference too.
best to narrow down to which type of rims u want...
1. forged rims - light and strong - more expensive
2. taiwan rims - cheaper. kerb liao just change a new one. no need sim tia.

then check out the designs available; deep dish or not? how many spokes?

take ur time to choose. mai rush.... go window shop first.

its ok. true fans will wear the shirt w pride win, lose or draw.
but Liverpool's future looks bright.
when we harness the power from Coutinho Sturridge Suarez(assuming he stays, which looks likely...)
