premium? emm, i thot dpe being forged and custom, it shud cost much more then most ready-made rims off the shelf.. they are gud value imo.. eg, 19" staggered, forged, 2 piece, clear bbk, is only around RM12k.. compare that to bbs, hamann, acs, breyton or even volk..
as styling is subjective, its weight nowhere near as other forged wheels, and non-proven strength, the only advantage i can see is the exclusivity, thats it..

Why not HRE? They have a dealer in Hong Kong! Price is better than USA minus the tax!

Unless of course, you just wanna slap on something simple and nice and cheap? DPE and HRE are Hermes of handbags. People see already will say "dont pray pray"...without even looking at the rest of your car.

John is a very helpful guy...Tell him what you need eg model, offset etc, and he will give you a quote. But for serious buyers only please.
Try not to ask him just for the hell of it because he actually spend time researching what you need.
To get basic USA retail quotes, go to www.hrewheels.com (just to get a rough gauge).
Actually HRE-US have asked me to hook them up with a dealer here in Singapore as they are quite interested in the market here. Don't think anyone here is too keen except Stamford Tires maybe....Afterall, their 3 pc rims are close to $10,000 for 19".

I dont think DPE of any model has better value than the forged rims made by BBS or Volk. I do agree if u compare it vs tuners rims like Hamann, Breyton, ACS, RD, GPower etc.
FYI, Progressive ME 8.5/9.5 19in retails at 3,820 in Singapore incl the wheel caps.
Have u seen DPE rims 2 piece in real person by any chance?
