I had all the 4 windows having the same problem one after another. I paid for the first and therest under PML. Just push back to them saying the product provided are not reliable having paiud over 100K for such car. Dealing with such people, weneed to bang table.
Try you luck. No harm trying.

maybe just me..... 1st few days got my bimmer...the aircon pipe or something leak...of coz had it replaced for free.....and followed a few months of driving....different parts started to breakdown........windows power gear just 1 of them......after got my bimmer back from PML oil servicing 2 days ago only!!...the aircon fan speed showing problem again...had the speed regulator replaced b4...same parts are like keep breakingdown........frustrated right...
......now i know why ppl say that BMW easy breakdown...true or not guys?!

i agree man ... was lookin at the 645cab ... thinking to get it for my next car , but the aftersales is :furious: :furious: :furious: .... really puts me off .. now considering maserati as they are in the nearly same price range ... :ehhh:

Before my warranty expires, one of the PML service advisors told me about the cracking sound when winding down the windows. He gives me the impression that it is not covered under warranty and it is wear and tear.
For me I do not mind, b'cos it is just the windows.
Now I feel cheated, having read the thread. Should have asked for repair under warranty immediately.

If your car is still under warranty, go back to PML to get it changed. I just got all my windows changed when I went for my Inpection 1 service the other day. My warranty will expire early next year. Don't let the CSA tell you that it's not covered under your warranty.
