DSC light turn on

Need help. Does anyone got this problem.

Intermittently. When go over a hump or make a u-turn or turn the steering wheel heavily during parking.

The DSC, brake and RFT light come on. I have already reset the RFT many time. When turn off the engine and drive again. The light will turn off.

Suspect maybe the steering sensor got problem. Will go to workshop to diagnose. But since it is intermittent. Want to see any bro here got same problem and repair cost.

Any advise.

I just had a similar exp. Read up on the net and it seems to be due to a faulty wheel motion sensor.
Messes up the flat tyre sensor as well as dtc. Happened once, so I ll monitor but I suspect somethings going to give.

Hi all,

I have the similar problems on my 523 F10. The DSC, Brake, RFT monitor turn off when turning on the car engine or while driving up/down slope or hump but it's intermitent.

When to TWM, all they did it to check on the tyre and initalise the tyre reading but problems still persist. Just thinking aloud, does change my RFT to normal tyre will this solve the problems. Thanks

Better get a specialist to get it check. DSC & brake are safety device

my problem was due to steering angle sensor. sensor alone cost SGD800 plus labor SGD1.1K.

actually diagnostic test will tell you straight away the problem. don't understand why TWM cannot detect the error fault.

I got the DSC, FTM, ABS, Control system and start up assistance intermittent warnings.

Send my car to the dealer and diagnosed faulty electronics thing causing alternator overcharged. Causing problems to the DSC system in the ECU. Need to change a new alternator and some other electronics stuff. Not really clear about this and the root cause. will call again for clarification.

Hi all,
Just an update on my error for the DSC, RFT, brake light.
Left my car for 2days to Khang Auto for the above error reported, they suggest to reload the ECU as they found transmitor fault upon doing a diagnostic check. Upon collection, it seem ok but after 2hrs, another episode of error, apart from the above error, the emission light on, could not start my engine at all, tried numerous to start the enginer again and finally got the engine start .
This morning it happen again, all I could do it to send to workshop to check and check.
Any advise? Between the workshop which Khang send to reload the software is Technic (SinMing). Hopefully it is the battery flat problem as highlighted by Technic, Sigh Sigh....
