Dekitting my BMW 320i. Pls refer to pics of the DVD head unit. DVD/CD/Movie player, Bluetooth phone function (have tried iphone and Samsung all ok, caller voice through music speakers), GPS Sg and M'sia map (tried and tested), play music from phone via Bluetooth streaming, separate ipod/MP3 player aux input in glove compartment, reverse camera (on screen when reversing). Most functions (DVD/CD track selection, call answering, volume control) can interface with steering wheel. Full flush with dash for original look. No problems, worked like a charm.
Installed a few months ago, quick sale at $750. Need to find own installer or I can recommend the one who did for me. Pls call or text questions to 97606808. Thanks.
Have had quite a few enquiries regarding the set, some FAQs for info:
1. the aircon control need to be lowered to fit the double din head unit (included in installation cost)
2. separate remote control is included (similar to home TV type), don't think anyone uses this anymore in the car, can use steering wheel controls for track selection, volume control, answer/hangup phone
3. Bluetooth automatically connects with your phone once the set is turned on
4. the GPS is in micro SD card (think is Papago; can do free update)
5. there's another micro SD card slot for more music
6. all the cables needed are with the set, no need to pay more
7. the GPS comes with separate antenna fixed on dashboard for reception from satellites
8. the screen automatically switches to rear view when u engage reverse gear
9. installer has assured me that he returned all necc cables to me and re-installation doesn't need to pay for any more 'extras'
