e46 straight AF gotta install something to change the signal to suit our e36 also rite?? haha.. jackie method not working ;( but still owe u and sszone kopi la... i shall try to change the plugs and see if it works...

haha piasey let u waste petrol but cheapest way to get it done, it happens to me every 6mths. after i do it, perfect !

no need paiseh la !! thanks for your help though.. hahaha.. it should be the 1st thing i will try whenever such problem arises.. haha cuz FOC method.. juz a bit of petrol .. haha

i yandao ?? i yandao then no need to find.. they will come find me... hai.. but sadly not the case...and kns, where u disappear to ah... nvr come on msn 1 leh ?

anyway, solved my problem :) i dunno issit just luck or wat..... can't really say if it will reccur , but after 4 days, it still goes on well.. hmmm.. for those who has this problem, mabbie can just pm me.. i just removed an aftermarket add-on to the car and changed the plugs... :)

too busy lah....me everyday work like siao till 11-12pm at nite in office
no lifer man....luckily now, slowly starting to go back to doing more Bimshop again....keke

I just came across another e36 with this same problem. Came down to a stuck flap sensor. What happened was the grease has become vary tacky and the flap kept oscillating which led to the hunting.

Opened up the flap sensor to clean the bearings and thereafter re-oiled them. Problem solved.
