Went to STA to inspect my Sebring exhaust this afternoon, which should have been done much earlier but kept delaying, then realized that my next annual inspection fall in July 2008. Hahaha, heng ah. Started to enjoy the new lighting just now in town. Combination of angel eyes+diamond vision, though is cheaper version (definitely not comparable with xenon lights), still "swee". Hehehe.

Hi guys, how much is the cost of these CCFL "angel eyes"? And what is the cost of those CCFL + Diamond Vision? I am keen to plug in one of those combos, LTA inspection coming up in Sept. Do u guys reckon I should wait till after Sept? Cheerios!

Go check with Eng Soon for the prices of the angel eyes and the Diamond Vision bulbs. They have them.

I got my "angel eyes" as a 2nd hand set from one of our forummer and installed it together with the diamond vision in BVO. BVO has both the items. Diamond vision is claimed to be LTA compliant, but not Angel eyes. After asking around our bros in this forum, seems like so far no one has yet failed the inspection due to "Angel Eyes". Thank you all for your helpful info. I'll take my chances with LTA then, inspection is due in 2 months... I reckon all hell will break loose thereafter.
On that note of the CCFL, it is quite a distinct signature of a bimmer. Can't picture any other cars putting them on.

Hi all,
I will send my E46 for inspection in a few months time. Just wanna to get some feedback or advise on the Angel eyes.
- Is there a need to remove the Angel eyes to pass the inspection. The other headlights are remained as original non-HID type.
- Any suggestion on the location for inspection?

As you can see, most people have no problems with angel eyes. Everyone goes to different inspection centres. A quick read through this thread and you can see:

Angel eyes are a must - so nice, so BMW. You can fail the headlights stage and still pass the overall inspection, happens all the time.
On a related note, anyone out there selling your original Xenons? I gian gian leh...

hey bros, would like to get from experienced advises from you guys..im currently riding on an e46 cabriolet and attached is a photo of my headlights, i tried getting angel eyes from different forummers before but none would fit my ride..some said that i have to change the whole headlight portion is that true? if i would do that how much would roughly be the cost?
