Any bro here fix the coilover at fk? Would like to get some feedback because quite tempt to fix. It only cost 1.5k. I have sat at my friend's ride with PSS9 and it is very hard and cost quite ex too. I just want to lower my ride and i do not track. My original suspension is already going to be 4 years old so i can't just change the spring. Please any bro here have any recommendation or feedback please do teach me. Thanks

Re: E60 coilover at FK

Which brand of coilover at fk, bro?

Just lower the ride but not too hard -- may be try koni damper + eibach lowering spring ?

Alternatively, you may want to check on the ST coilover (I think height adjustable only) carried by Wilman2772. For its comfort level wise, you may want to check with the bro who has already installed it?

Cheers.

what coilover u planning to change to ?

if u think PSS9 is hard... i dun think any coilover will suit u..because PSS9 on the E60 is actually very very comfortable...

just settle with koni + eibach which alot of people think its comfy yet firm... but in my honest opinion...feels almost the same like PSS9 on number 7 setting..

comfort is very subjective...its best that u sit and try it for yourself before deciding rather than regretting in the end

Re: E60 coilover at FK

i THINK the coilover that fk is selling is BC, taiwan brand.

just go for PSS9, they're as comfortable as they get. maybe your friend had it on the stiff setting?

Hi bro, brand i also don't know but i know it is made in taiwan.
maybe i should try lowering using eibach lowering spring first like what you said then if my suspension is too soft then i change to koni damper. Thanks

I've tried on my friend ride which is a 6 series on 20' wheels and it is really very hard. As i'm going for 20' too, i hope its not that hard because i travel alot with my kids on my ride. Why you sold off your ride so fast, now i have to spend so much money modding my ride bro :furious:

Yes its a taiwan brand but i didn't hear any feedback till now. But i m tempt by the price. PSS9 is very expensive around 3k plus ride and it is quite hard tooo

Re: E60 coilover at FK

Hi bro,
Yes, FK is selling BC Coilover, taiwan brand. 32 settings, height adjustable.
OpenDNS

I did mine at FK too (e46). So far so good.

I bought it because it's affordable for me, and I need to increase my car's height so that I can go home. Well, that's another story.

Anyway, I find BC ok. Me quite qing chai one. What I pay is what I get. Like in a clinic, if I pay high fees I get good nurse. Sorry I mean good doctor. And vice versa.

Coilover is confirm harder than spring+damper set, bo bian one, so I suggest you try out someone's ride first before deciding. Hope this is useful :)

Re: E60 coilover at FK

BC is good in terms in handling and feel... but BC is very hard though.... be very prepared... if PSS9 u canot tahan..no way in hell u can tahan BC

Re: E60 coilover at FK

I had BC coilover on my previous E46 ride, wife butt couldn't take it, currently on E60 ride with Eibach lowering spring + FSD Koni + H&R ARB, very satisfied with it.

Re: E60 coilover at FK

Hi,

I am also on Knoi FSD + H&R springs..... Find it almost the same as original shock, quite soft. Was hoping to get something slightly harder...

Blackass,
Consider adding the H&R ARB (Anti roll bar)?

Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one who cannot tahan. In fact, it's so hard I thought the coilover is spoilt or what. (I'm already at very soft settings, 5 out of 32!)
