E60 - how much engine oil per marking

For E60. There are 5 marking between max and min. My car is indicating 2 marking below max. So how much engine oil to top up per marking. Cannot find the info in manuel.

I just brought a 1 litre bottle and pour all in. The level is back to maximum. Hope I did not pour in too much.

500ml for 2 markers from my last round. I prefer not to hit max level so as to avoid adverse affect to my engine life.

It's theoretically about 1.3 per notch ...... You should be fine.

think between Min and Max is one litre. Yes it's good not to top up to Max.

If it is 500ml for 2 notches or 1 litre between min & max then I over fill by 500ml.
How, any issue?

Just pour 1 litre when the car computer indicates 1 litre, normally when it hits min mark.
