Had the same problem on the E85. Such a pain.
You could scavenge em hydraulic motors from a scrapyard to save cost...
which i don't recommend cos it's probably as old..
Can try 2277 man, saw them fix a few Z4's and 6-er's roof.

valjean;980122 said:Nope. Nothing happens except the error light at the roof control module lighting up.
Red_Bean_Bun;981823 said:Are you sure no sound from the unlock motor near the cabin lamp ?
Unlock it manually and see if the hydraulics kick in after that.
Don't think the 2 motors would cost 4k. Should be a lot less than that.
valjean;981839 said:Yeah, totally no sound. How to do manual unlock? Heh.

(1) I seen online the in the US, it is possible to convert e85 soft top to hard top. Is it possible to do it in SG? If so, what is the approximate price?
(2) Seems like there are quite a fair bit with the roof especially with age to come for the series. Is it possible to overwrite the motor/hydraulics and manually operate the roof?
