Congrats on your new ride. I've a similar problem (I drive a 320) whereby the wipers are extremely nosiy and squeaky. Repeated complains have not yielded any permanent solutions from PML. So far, they've changed my wipers twice and filled up my wiper fluid reservoir with some soap solution. I've been advised to lubricate the wipers with the soap solution to minimise the noise. This is not feasible during heavy downpours as we're trying to clear away as much of the rain droplets as possible and activating the spray would only make visibility worse. Moreover, the rain washes away the soap pretty quickly. Anyway, during such heavy rains, I cant hear the noise from the wipers...

Or you can buy the Autoglym Glass polisher. This should reduce the wax residue on the windsreeen.
during car washing, avoid using the same cloth for both drying your car and for cleaining the windscreen. Some car body shampoo contain wax and you could end up having wax residue on the windscreen.

Heard that wiper juttering problem is due to coating on the surface and is common on the E90 especially the 323i. I think PML is aware of this issue as the CSA told me yesterday that they will arrange for me to send in the car for polishing the windscreen. By right PML should do it before delivery. Why wait until customer complain then they try to do it.

And also avoid using Rain-X, any wax will definitely make it jutter.

Arranged the appointment yesterday to send in the car to PML Alexandra today 2 pm for windscreen polishing as recommended by PML Sime Dabry. However, CSA in Alexandra told me they don't have enough time to do it today and mentioned PML Sime Darby side can do it. I don't know what the f**k they are trying to tell me. They simply trying to push away the customer and lighten their work load. We just lan lan wasted all the time for nothing.

From the feedback I think E90 has got the common defect on the wiper system. Not as smooth as my E39. I have used nearly 20 cars since I started driving, wipers on my 323i is the worst that I have come across. Hope PML will look into this matter!

I am driving the 18 months old e90 320i. Had the same problem since the beginning and done all the things mentioned above - replace wipers,autoglym, polish windscree and windscreen washers. Non of the above work.
Driving along Yio Chu Kang road one day and a stone hit my wind screen created a crack. When to PML to get the windscreen replaced under insurrance. The wiper problem went away with the windscreen. I suspect that the factory put some coating on the screen to protect it during shipment and somehow they are unable to remove them effectively in some cars resulting in the wiper problem. I am not suggesting that you go a smash the wind screen. But if you have to be pretty good negotiator to ask PML to replace the windscreen under warranty.
