E90 325 anyone?

hi all,

as you can probably tell, i'm new to this forum.

given my experience with my current car (which was bought new), i'm thinking of buying a 2nd hand car for a change...i figured a 1 to 2 year old E90 325 would be a great choice.

any advice on whether this would be a good option and the price range i should be looking at? and more importantly, i don't seem to see any of them being advertised on the market! loads of 320s though...

thanks!

Re: E90 325 anyone?

Not many E90 325s were sold... so fewer still on the resale market.

My thinking is: people who buy the 325 probably knew what they were looking for, so unlikely that they'll sell, until a 325 replacement/competitor comes along. So, either the new facelifted 325, or the 335; or something else comes along.

May have to wait a while :)

Re: E90 325 anyone?

hey emiffy,

you are absolutely right... and i do know exactly what i want too, down to the 17" rims! :)

but it's still kinda surprising that i have yet to come across a single advert...

as you've said, long wait ahead i guess...

Re: E90 325 anyone?

Get your name onto the list with e.g., PPSL or other 2nd-hand car dealers that do BMWs. Also get your name to the sales people at PML, so when 325 owners upgrade, they'll contact you.

Actually, very few 330i too :)

Re: E90 325 anyone?

yup... even fewer 330s at a 325 price... the road tax and price difference doesn't make sense to me at my sad income level... sigh... else, i wouldn't mind a new M5 :)

Re: E90 325 anyone?

ever thought parallel importing one ?...kekeke

You re right, I ve not seen any 325 / 330 for sale (used). Maybe next year when they laucnh the 335i.

Hi, as I am driving one, I must say its a good choice. But I would think that the other 325 owners will not disagree with me. Go test drive the 320, 323 and 325 at PML and feel it for yourself. The reason why you don't see any used 325 is because the owner either love it so much or because he/she will burn a big hole in the pocket when he/she sell it.

Re: E90 325 anyone?

Hi SFW,

Thanks for your advice. I am pretty convinced that I'll not be going for anything below a 325 because my current car's performance is probably about the same as the 320/323 (hope you guys don't start flaming me for saying this!), and with each passing week, it seems to get less responsive/powerful...I'm sure you guys know how it is :)

But I think I just might go for a testdrive... if only to ascertain that the car is the right size for me (the model two generations ago was a tad too small and I could hardly fit my head in!)! then I'd better start looking out for a different make or model or the waiting would have been in vain!

Hi Ahbengdriver,

no parallel importers for me...heard enough horror stories!!
