Performance Motors has now become what Cycle and Carriage was . Super high margins based on OMV. The fact is we need more parallel importers for BMW.
If one looks at Cycle and Carriage, their selling price with repsect to OMV has improved over the last 3 years probably due to other paraller importers providing a benchmark.

Personal opinion;

On contrary, both 325iA/4 & 523iA are about $50k OMV, $173k & $176k respectively. But 325iA/4 comes with Navigation (map available up to KL,M'sia), power to weight ratio, the 325iA/4 is my bet. 6 cylinder fun....

In comparison; the 323iA/4 & 523iA are $149k & $176k, $27,000 difference, I still rather go for the 3 ser...

To make a rt comparison, i chked MTA, i compared both MB latest model as well as BMW, MB S350L OMV is $97k selling @ $328,888, BMW 740LiA OMV is $94k selling @ $308,000. MB looks like have more margins....:juggle:

The rough guide for the cost price of the car should be aprx 2.36? multiplied by the OMV of the car. Taking $50K OMV, that equates to abt $118K (excluding advertising, staff wages and commissions, land/building lease fees, freight fees)

I guess if their sales are doing well, neither company will be hard-pressed to bring the prices down.

Went down to PML Leng kee today, check the price of 325i, 323i and 525i. quoted price are 173k, 149k and 218k respectively. Was hoping for the 325i price to go down but after half a year, the price was like almost the same, last quoted was 175k before New Year i think. Saleperson mention that 325i and 525i are for niche market, that why the price wont go down, even lexus is250 come into play.

Saw the site for the new BMW showroom, with a 7series display outside just beside the new MB building... :nehnehhh:

Really love the 325i, hopefully my family will buy at the end of the year.

Does anyone know whether the 325i come with Comfort Access?? If not, how much is this option?
