e90 325i fuel consumption at 5km/l on screen

hi,

my fuel consumption that is showed on the screen is at 5km/l which is so bad, is it an error or the meter is absolutely correct? by right for e90 325i should be around 10km/l?

new car own would appreciate some help. 2010 registered car

U did lots of idling? Start stops? That's an average. Use the old school TOP up to full and drive till re TOP up. Divide them and you'll get the rough consumption

If possible, use back the same pump and stop at first click.

Lastly, if it really is around 5km/l, something's is vvvvv wrong.

My previous E90 325i - wife drives the kids to school and so does non-highway mostly and get slightly under 7km/l. 5km/l is quite a fair amount lower...
