Anyone with the 330i in the forums? How do you find the ride to date? Any gremlins in the electronics or the car in general that's causing you grief?

I have the 330i for 3 months over now. Runs properly like it should. Never experienced any problems since delivery. The car has been in for a single engine oil top up tho but thats it. No gremlins like electronics/mechanical. I drive the car very hard so they should have appeared by now I guess. I am a Biz Director and I travel up north with my car aplenty so I have done close to 15K kms so far and it still feels tight and well built. Only the boot carpeting looks like its aged a little more. No dents/scratches too. Haha..
The car came with a bagful of options like sports suspension with 18" wheels, the lovely seats and the sportier steering wheel. Mine does not have active steering tho. The car gets huge attention at traffic lights and everyone wants to have a go at the lovely engine. My wife drives the car and when I take over, there is always the "welcome back" exuded. Did consider the Volvo S60R but gave up on it.
The 330i is a hugely capable - performance oriented car. Get this car. You will never regret it. And forget about the new baby Lexus! Cheers.
The VDO Daytona Nav system is manufactured by Siemens (to my understanding). I'm very sure you can purchase this equipment from elsewhere and have it installed in the 330i if you so desire. The only question is whether Siemens provided a specially made edition/model for BMW. If it isn't, the problem is half solved. The next step is just to locate a dealer for the system be it local or overseas
