E90 50k servicing

Hi all bro,

I am sending my car to PML for 50k servicing and it will be my last servicing within the warranty
period as my warranth is expire next month.

Do anyone know the cost for 50k servicing and what is begin done on it. what do i need to take note of....

My was less than $90.00 from PML which includes labour & oil filter.

I brought my own oil there.

You may wish to get them do a post warranty checks on yur car.

i have request them to do a inspection on my car as u mention today. it cost $140.
The SA told me can be done within a day. but read from some buddy here saying that their car doing the same inspection
and take them 2-3 days. so now got some doubt on my SA.

i think 2 - 3 days includes replacement of parts which are flagged by the diagnostic system. the other time my battery died and car was sent in for battery replacement. they ran diagnostics and it showed valvetronic errors and the car was returned to me only the next day (1.5 days) after part replacements.

Warranty check can be done within a day thus no worries. Atas price!

I checked with my workshop in KL and he mentioned that 50k maintenance, main thing to change is the gearbox oil. This is of course on top of the usual oil change. cheers!

Don't think PML will replace the transmission oil as part of the warranty package. It's supposed to be "lifetime" oil according to PML...

Hi, just want to confirm with you guys...I am driving the E90 318i and my last service was at 24k in Apr and now I have hit 36k and I thought 12k is the routine service. I call PML (under warrenty no choice) and they told me my OBC will indicate if I need to service. So its either the OBC light up or 1 yr whichever is earlier. Reading most of the post, seems not really satisfied with PML recommandation. Should I go for 12K service? Any guideline for service? Sry this is the 1st time I own a conti car...Jap car used to service every 10k.

The car will show a countdown mileage to service when you start the engine. Since it's already 12k km, just go get your servicing done
