E90 Auto Trunk

Hi all,

Just did up my trunk to made it auto open upon pressing the boot release on key Fob.

Hope you all like it

Apparently it works for E92 as well

Good for my wife. She always complain the boot is so heavy to lift up...
What's the damage?
Is it an add-on or change of boot damper?

Its a add-on, apparently the installer installed a customized spring on my damper..

Have Pmed u the damage and contact.

correct me... since spring release is added to open the boot. I guess more force is required to apply when closing the boot??
If this the case....... is either i use more force to open or i need to close it harder....

Its not hard to close as the strength of the spring is customized for the damper.

Comparing to stock, it just needs a tad more strength to close it. Hope this helps
