E90 battery lifespan

Hi folks,

Like to check how often you change your battery?

I changed mine about 3yrs ago and recently I noticed the voltage is only about 12.3V (stationary) and 13.4V (moving).

Is it time to change again?

I changed mine after 5 years.

Batteries these days wear out a lot faster because of the increased number of electronics in new cars and hence = more sapping of power. On average some lower end batteries last just about a year, while the better AGM ones 3 years.

I am still running my first battery since March 2012, on F30 335i.

I have an amazing AGM battery that last 9 years and getting weak. Hopefully can last till car scrap in October.
