Recently, I hit the expressway divider and damaged the left front/rear rims. (totally gone case for rims)
Thus, I replaced the left front lower arm, knuckle arm and shock absorber. Did wheel alignment few times but cant get the left/right camber readings within same range.
Last camber results - left -0.43 degree
Right - 0.12 degree

Check the suspensions ....... At the top hat / tower nuts ....

Re: E90 front camber alignment (need bros advice)

Bro, thanks for the advice.. appreciated.
Yes, i did check and changed a new pcs.
1) changed the left top struts. (meant to hold suspension)
2) Left Tension arm.

Re: E90 front camber alignment (need bros advice)

Try to adjust those ... Loosen those nuts ... Push / pull the wheels .... Play around with the arbs and excercise those biceps.

What was repaired after the accident and what did your alignment shop say?

Re: E90 front camber alignment (need bros advice)

Bro red bean bun,

Already done as what you have said at the alignment workshop.
There was the best reading for the camber liao.. Thanks.

Bro Kenntona,

The workshop say that must be some items bent but they have replaced most of it.
They also cant find out what they missed.. Thanks.

Re: E90 front camber alignment (need bros advice)

BENT? Which workshop is this? Surely something is not done right....

Re: E90 front camber alignment (need bros advice)

Bro Kenntona,

Appreciated your advice... Thanks.

Anyway, the workshop have tried their best and replaced those bent items..
(obvious 1 - left front lower arm & knuckle arm)

I dont blame them as they may be inexperience on such rare problem.
Seeking BMW experts in forum to see what I/they may have missed out.

Last resort - go to PML .......

So this is not a workshop familiar with BMWs?

go BVO, if my cock bent i also go there.

Bro,
BVO's Ah-Wee's knief is super sharp. Last time I just change 2 plastic screws for the radiator"s pipe, he charged me $50+ CrAzY!
- I bargained with a guy upstairs and gave me discount, otherwise, i will ask them to take out that 2 pieces of plastic screws!

Not the BVO that I know. You have to look at the labour costs (time spent). 2 screws but if it takes lots of work and 1-2 hours, you can't expect $1 per screw.

Re: E90 front camber alignment (need bros advice)

i pay 150-180 for 2 screws. sometimes got 10 bux off at most.

Re: E90 front camber alignment (need bros advice)

But its a fact that Ah Wee 'see people' one....

In the car industry, which workshop does not "see people"?

If I walk into a workshop as a newbie, would I expect to pay the same price as someone who has been servicing his car there for 5 years?

The same applies to car sales. Even restaurants give unique discounts to some familiar faces.
