E90 LCI 1" less rear legroom than old E90

Well, I just moved my floor mats from the old E90 to the new and realized there's actually about 1" LESS rear legroom?!

Maybe this BMW's tactic... LCI = reduce legroom, then quote 1" more space in the new F30? :wtf:

Oh, so LCI is Legroom Cut 1-inch

Re: E90 LCI 1" less rear legroom than old E90

1 inch...does it matter much??
we are talking abt legroom, not other things ah....haha

Seat bigger by 1". Leg room shorter by 1".

errrrh....base on carmat length...how can be accurate .

Re: E90 LCI 1" less rear legroom than old E90

Why not, you mean my carmat grow longer when I move to another car meh...

Nope....could it be the fact that the LCI carmat is less snug-fit (against the foot-well area) as compared to pre-FL, hence the misperception? I mean, do you tink its reasonable to deduce simply by comparing the length of 2 carpart? In any case, this is rather frivolous and the 1 inch diff does not make me more / less worse off ya.....so, I peace out ;)

Re: E90 LCI 1" less rear legroom than old E90

Hah I'm not angry or what. but it is really 1" lesser (shorter).

het, detach8 mean to say he found out the 1in diff when he transferred his carpet from old car to new car

Could it due to the front seat rail being mounted 1in towards the rear thus causing the diff?
Otherwise, it's a very change to make the LCi chassis shorter by 1in ....
Imagine reengineering the giant mould to press the E90 chassis

Re: E90 LCI 1" less rear legroom than old E90

Nope actually the most noticeable difference was at the rear center aircon/console area... the carpet just simply does not fit in that gap. and at the seats area the carpet go on top of the rails on the LCI when it sits nicely behind the rails on the pre-LCI.

i mean it's just an interesting observation... to share...
