Hi jojosnr. Does your car come with the sport or non sport steering wheel? If you are on sport steering wheel you can simply swap with M-sport steering wheel and the M-steering wheel cover which has the ///M emblem on it without having the need to change the airbag module. Do bear in mind the sport steering wheel airbag module is slighty more compact than the non-sport version.

Thank you for sharing. Mine is not the sports steering. Am thinking of buying the air bag module as well. May I ask how was the experience buying from eBay, any problems with delivery ?
Also, did you DIY the installation ?, and how did you get the M Tech steering with the multifunction module ?

To begin with the M-steering conversion frm the standard steering, you will need these items:
M LEATHER STEERING WHEEL 32307906846
CONNECTING LINE AIRBAG / COIL SPRING 32306767215
COVER, M STEERING WHEEL, BLACK, MULTIF. 32307906848
AIRBAG MODULE DRIVER'S SIDE W ABSORBER 32306764559
SAUCER-HEAD SCREW M4X14MM (3 pieces) 32306769431
SAUCER-HEAD SCREW M4X10 (2 pieces) 32306767225
You will be looking at around $2K for this conversion as the airbag module alone will set you back more than $1K.
The seller from ebay shipped the item really fast. He is great to deal with. I have yet to DIY the M-steering as i am still waiting for other mods to arrive. Will find a day sometime next month and do it all together. As for the multifunction module, it is exactly the same with what i have on my current sport steering wheel.
If you guys are really keen on the conversion i believe it is better to seek professional advice from BVO or J4C, they will be in a better position to advise you. I am just a newbie as well who surf around for infos and try and error sort....

One question. Since you are changing to the M-Tech steering, would you want to offload your current sports steering ? I can be interested in it ; )

As much as i wish to offload the sport steering wheel, i still strongly encourage you to get M-Steering wheel. Since you are going to invest more than $1K for the airbag module might as well go all the way for the M-steering and dont look back. The M-Steering is wrap around with perforated leather which gives you a much better and cushier grip. Thicker too and the thumbrest is just superb. After the M-steering, perhap you can look into the ///M door sill as well... hee hee
