Scenario 1.
1. You see a girl and you just go Pffffffffffffffffft.
2. You see the same girl, dressed up voluptiously with her booty obvious, and she winks ands smiles at you with wet red lipstick all over her lips.
You wont go :yikess: ?
It will grow on you progressively just like the previous models. BMW cars always look different in the flesh.

Pinch of salt, ppl. As it were, yes, I agree the models all grow on you, because they are mean to be timeless. And timeless stuff always take awhile to ingrain itself into the consciousness of the public.
As for this M3, if it builds on the looks of the coupe, much how the E46 M3 built on the svelte lines of the coupe then, then it will definitely be a winner. Performance is almost a non-issue, because we know it will chew up and spit anything out. 7 Speed SMG, 100% locking rear differential, etc etc.
I just can't wait for it.

lol..for a while the last pic made me think it looks so much like the e46 M3. then i realised it was Jacks signature.

what i still cant decipher is how much longer is the new e90 m3. it looks kinda long but the pics play tricks sometimes with lighter color looking longer and the darker ones looking much shorther in length. Does anyone know the rumoured specs of the length?

i guess so but just curious to know the length differential with respect to the e46.

It'll definitely be longer and a tad wider. Just take a standard E90 (coupe) and build up your speculation from there. As we know from the standard car, and the E46 M3, the M3 will always have wider front wings and a wider track, especially at the rear.
Deeper front airdam, elongated rear skirts, possibly a diffuser and longer bodywork to cover up the more extensive 4 pipe exhaust.
engine? rumour has it its a V8. 4 litres, at least 400 bhp. I'm not sure what the castings would be like, but the advances in metallurgy indicate that the V8 will weigh just as much as the outgoing straight-six, if not lighter. I wait with barely contained excitement for further news.

It's probably just one code name E92 for 3 series coupe
The thread starter might hv made a mistake...I dunno, it's confusing code but again
they should all share the same platform. Can u believe that the new M3 was even rumored to be called M4 !...no joke.

they cant do that. The M3 is a symbol of pinnacle success for a great sports car. There would be a 4 door variant. But calling it an M4 is not a good idea. Besides the number 4 is like
in chinese. But i know jack would buy it irregardless. He will just debadge his e46 and switch it to the E92.

Woow....M3 is gonna have a 4-door? And so is the 335i will have a 4-door as is heavily speculated in USA forums?
