when I checked the air pressure yesterday - the stem seems to be flexible and cap is in plastic ( but painted to look like steel !! )

My rims came with rubber valve stems.

For same car, there are actually rubber valve steam and metal one? WTH...

The reason for asking is that there is a lot of confusion of the E92 being equiped with active TPMS or TPMS like the E90s.

In the USA, all E92 comes with TPMS so changing rims/tires are nightmares.

In Singapore, I changed my rims and found out that mine is like the E90s, no active TPMS, so its very easy to change rims!

One easy way to find out is that those with rubber valve stems are like mine, easy peasy, whereas those with metal valve stems are with active TPMS, so changing rims will be difficult!

TPMS, there is some sorta sensor underneath ur valve stems. RPA uses the wheels cicumferential momentum to determine if ur tires are high or low pressure only and if it is burst.
TPMS gives u the PSI of each tire if i am not mistaken.

First impressions: previously I drove with 200 Newton-metres plus 200 Irritation-metres of torque. You know, when you propel your car along by *willing* it to go faster. Please, car, occupy that empty space which the clown in front has miraculously vacated! You put your foot down....and nothing happens. Now I'm driving with the real thing, and it's so much more relaxing.....also slightly terrifying in the rain.

Now I'm driving with the real thing, and it's so much more relaxing.....also slightly terrifying in the rain.

Yes, its quite a jump in terms of power so please be careful, especially in the rain! I was telling El that I was still getting wheelspin in 4th gear when i accelerate on a rainy day, even on 275 rears...

Just got a call from my fav CSA in PML.

There are 8 E92 fuel pumps sitting in PML's warehouse in Malaysia. Just in case anyone suffers the fuel pump problem which is well documented.

However, he mentioned that since our car is a hot climate version, the fuel pump is uprated as well so may not suffer the same problems as the US version.
