Question for discussion.. Wondering if there is a limit to the number of times we can do launch control on the DCT before it is voided of warranty?

If there is a limit to the number of times for launch control to be used, MA would have mentioned it in the warranty, etc.

Did you check with MA on this? I think they would be the best ppl to check with since they will be warrantying your car from the factory and later on by themselves?

finally tried the launch control.. its pretty scary.. compared to 4wd launch..

make sure there is ample space if anyone wants to try.. hahaha.

hahaha.. it wont harm the clutch imo.. though launch is at approx 5.5k rpm.. lol

what i heard in other forum is your cpu or whatever will have a record of how many times u launch the car is it true?

There is no written documentation for that.. Hehe.. But we can't do multiple launches.. After every launch, a significant distance or cool down period has to be obtained before a new launch can be activated.

More than 5 mins.. Written doc say must clock think about 1km before next launch

Alot of wheelspin ESP when doing it the first time.
Foot on brake pedal, Switch to manual mode, dsc off, drive logic set to 6. Then push gear knob forward and hold it there and let go of brake pedal, chequered flag will show up.. Then floor the accelerator.. To launch off, just let go of the gear knob which is all the while held in forward position.
Launch rpm is about 5500rpm.. We can adjust it by 500rpm where each turn of the cruise control lever will adjust it by 100rpm
