enjoy the smoothness of the engine mated to a very slick gearbox despite the weight and heft of a convertible but, with the manual you are about 60kg lighter than the auto or dct version plus less maintenance issues.

as first car - so waited a while.
Jointly bought Ford Tarus 1995 V6 in California back in 2005 - but that was 800 USD

I too love to swap my own cogs :laughlik:
Was looking for exactly the same things as you, Bimmer, Manual and Convertible....
Managed only 2 out of 3, but I had to console myself with the N54.
I'm sure you'll enjoy your new ride, be sure to check out the CDV delete mod for the BMW manual transmission. Smoothens out the first 2 gears.
