have been on red stuff for about 2.5 months now.
here's my review...
made sure that i bedded-in the pads after installation. have matched them with zimmerman rotors and got them installed at the same time. immediately drove to lim chu kang 40 tiang to bed them in. the workers walking and cycling along the road must've thought i was crazy - was driving up to 100kmh and jamming the brakes (just short of ABS cutting in) down to about 15kmh. did this for about 8-10 times up and down the road. guess i was the most 'happening' thing on weekday night at 11pm along that deserted stretch of road, kekeke...
then drove all the way home along PIE to cool the brakes down and made sure i didn't come to a complete stop along the way.
got home and checked the rotors. they had a bluish grey tinge. means that the pads and rotors have bedded in properly. good! - will make the rotors last longer and prevent any screeching when braking.
took a few trips up and down NSH, as far as sepang. brake pads seem to be living up to their reputation. there is no loss of 'brake feel' as compared to the stock pads, although they seem to bite better when they are warmed up. just had to make sure that i don't do any 'spirited driving' when they are cold.
the pads seem to generate relatively less dust too as compared to the stock pads. i am on silver rims and it really bugs the hell out of me when they are coated with a generous layer of brake dust at the end of the week when i wash my car.
i used to spend more time washing the rims than the rest of the car when i was on stock pads. nowadays, i just use a sponge and give the rims a light rub and voila! they are clean. could be that i am also using sonax rim protector. they give the rims a thin layer of coating that help make the grime easier to wash off. so even the petrol station carwash guys seem to be able to do a relatively good job cleaning the rims now.
have even tried out ebc red stuff at sepang during 1 track day not long after installation. wouldn't have risked using the stock pads as they wouldn't have given me the confidence to go on track. no brake fade felt even after a few laps round the track. but could also be that my car isn't as powerful as the other cars on the track that day. but hey, whatever works on the track for me is good enough for everyday driving!
only thing is that ebc is not easily available at most workshops, and the local distributor is not that savvy with the stuff they sell. they seem to be more familiar with bike brake pads and rotors than with those for cars.
just wish that it'd be possible for us to get the ebc rotors - have heard quite good reviews from the UK (where they're made). just that it's not cheap here, and high possibility that the distributor will screw up my order (like they did the last time).
one thing i notice is that i would probably need to bed-in the pads soon as the rotors are becoming clean and shiny again recently (after about 5000km). could be that i've been doing a lot of city driving lately.
have come across another post that revealed there's a 335 on yellow stuff. care to provide some feedback? anybody on green stuff?
