Eibach Springs for E60

Ricky at Fong Kim recommended me to lower my ride with Eibach for $600+. I have had bad experience with Breyton springs before. The front was lowered but the back wasn't. The new springs coupled with stock shocks actually made the car more unstable over uneven ground. Does anyone here have good experience with Eibach springs? Any picture of a car that has been lowered with Eibach?

Re: Eibach Springs for E60

i just got my ride lowered at fong kim today. the front is lowered to 2 finger, back still a big gap. not much difference except that it look dipped down at the front.

disappointed though. was told it was a 2.5hr job, went in 2pm supposed to finish at 4.30pm. End up, i only managed to collect at 8.30pm! spent hours there doing nothing waiting and waiting..

given a choice again, i rather not lower it. not much difference

Was at Fong Kim yesterday as well. sebchua were you the E60 with M6 rims?

The reason that they gave for the front being lower is cause of the engine. As it's heavier in the front. You can always talk to them and say why its so uneven. I'm sure they will try and help but unless you have time to spare I'm not sure how long it would take.

Well next time you guys can always buy the springs from Ricky and go down to either J4C or BVO, actually both of them can get the springs in for you too,

Re: Eibach Springs for E60

I had a set of Hamann Progressive Springs installed in my car, 40mm FA/20mm RA. The wheels fit perfect in the arch. It look fantastic, not only my car don't sit that high up, also the handling/cornering is way better than it used to be. At the same time, I don't sacrifice my ride quality. So, I'd personally recommend to drop the car.
