Eisenmann Race Mufflers


wish to share my experiences.

was comparing supersprint and E--mann exhaust finally chose E--mann as some claim to be loud and fierce
fixed the exhaust at Man. good and clean job. 2 hours
no sound just 5% louder than stock..WTF...
they told me to wait as the e--mann is new.. waited for 2 months still the same. bobby also shaked his head.
as man's place is always packed i went to fong kim to remove the Resonators and silencer fixed 2 s/s straight pipe.
sound totally disappointing. lorry sound nicer. 4 hours
saw ACS6 post i was so happy can't wait to fix the x pipe, went to fong kim again remove both the straight pipe changed to x pipe. 5 hours.
sound nothing to shout abt comparing to tubi race which someone posted on his M5.
met up with jospeh this afternoon to double confirm the problem, he laughed at the sound knn!!! and when the car idle no sound from the exhaust but the car was vibrating under the seats and steering wheel. cannot take it
went back to fong kim try to fixed the problem, they told me is because of the x pipe which causes the vibration, got so pissed off with so much time wasted ask them to fix back the original. 2hours
The Fong Kim boss told me i spend money for experience.
money is small issue, time wasted and fustration more than 10hours at workshop and end of the day back to square 1.

w/o removing the cats... eisenmann are is that loud lah...

i have heard 3 litre M54 engine and N52 valvetronic engine running the same exhaust on friend's E60...

the new engine is so much louder...

maybe thats the case between you and ACS6 too coz he is running the new engine

thanks terry . too tired perhaps my expectation was too high wanted to sound like the tubi on the M5 or toto maser ... so disappointment is expected.
another experience for me.
anyway i gave up trying my 645 a happy man again.
will move on to my next GTR project.

if u remove resonators u will experience very poor low end torque...unrefined sound (in yr case, lorry),and vibration + drone...

what the resonator does is to cancel the soundwaves inside, and when it goes to the exhaust, it becomes balanced + refined.

u will need to buy Larini /Tubi coupled with a V engine for the kind of sound u are looking for.

alternatively... sell your eisenmann and buy tubi rumore for the M6 from dave...it might just sound as what u want

eisenmann is just the brand... its not the best sounding exhaust for the 6er...

the hamann , supersprint, remus sounds better imho...

eisenmann only sound good on E60 M5..it sucks on 6series..imo

LOL....listen bro, coming from a 650i owner with Eisenmann race, I've been through all that but came out the other end of the tunnel a happy man. Maybe I'm lucky coz my setup works perfectly fine for me. It is as loud as it can get till I complete the exhaust project.

So, seriously, I'm living proof, and as for opinions...well, you know what they say about those things.

Good luck with the GTR project. I'm sure it'll be hell lots easier to gain some serious tyre burning Hps...

eisenmann is just the brand... its not the best sounding exhaust for the 6er...

the hamann , supersprint, remus sounds better imho...

don't think anyboby will want. bobby already tried to sell his but no buyer, anyway is dave selling his tubi can you ask him pm me thanks. btw is it loud?? haha.

bro yes you are indeed very lucky,
bobby and myself is really upset with the result.
Jospeh only changed his rear hamann mufflers sound louder than all my set up. like wise for another 2 of my friends driving 6 sers, one on supersprint and the other custom pipe. all hassle free. loud and sweet.

mai TL,tell your PI make sure they make the GTR loud before they deliver anyway 6er should not be loud

i really had enough of spending time in the workshop, cannot take it anymore.
no more mod on my 6ser. no more trial and error. its a sad process. but great experience gain.
will be contented just to hear your exhaust sound. the cold start clip was soild but i would like to hear it live ... cheers.

i had learn how to wait, will wait for a track use exhaust for the GTR, no doubts it will be loud. i got a set of track HKS titanium exhaust on my evo si beh loud, can't hear phone ring, cannot make a proper conversation, no need radio. but great,
bought at S$3800 wanted to sell at S$1800. 100% satisfaction. anytaker??
