Perhaps Bobby needs to delete resonators and do the x pipe. 645ci and 650i should sound almost the same, if not, exactly the same.

I have an audio clip of the cold start, and it sounds out of this world. Not sure if it's a nice sound or just pure ROAR....cold start this morning, I almost shat in my pants. It roared so loud, almost like one of those V8 super drag cars....I wasn't exactly sure if I liked it or not but damnnnn....it sure is raw. At 6.30am, I didn't quite get myself into the 'popular' section of my neighbours.

Minutes later, I was cruisin down my fav spot, CTE towards the city. My impression was completely altered...enjoying it to the fullest. The full spectrum of the erace symphony is available straight from the tap from 2k rpm onwards....simply awesome.

I've given up editing the audio clip. Let me post it up somewhere....

In the pipeline bro...in the pipeline...akan datang. Grandmaster's fault again. No stone will be left unturned in the exhaust department. The full works baby!

At where the 6er stands, it already growls like a monster. This morning at 7am, I placed a tripod with my sony T9 digi mini-hopeless POS cam aiming at the right exhaust tip, started recording, hopped into the front seat, fired up the 6er, indulged in the gloroious moment, once the cold start hit the comfy idle mode I gunned it three times. OMG! It sounded like the one of the cylinders just flew out the rear end (i.e. V7 instead of 8)....IN A GOOD WAY of course!

Happy boy again, walked to the rear end to end videorecording only to see that the tripod had fallen over. Must have been either the blow out from the cold start or the neighbourhood-unfriendly gunning. Sighz...must do it all over again tomorrow morning.

Where can I post a 115K audio clip?

OK, I give up converting the AMR file to WMA format. Use Realplayer to play the file guys....unzip first of course....the file I mean, well, Terry can do whichever way he likes

It's sad, I'm using a pathetic HTC Tytn 2 for audio recording. For this clip, I rev to 3krpm only. This morning rev to 6500rpm, then the tripod fell over.

If Bobby decides to keep his 6er, no problem, sure can help. Grandmaster and I will oversee his project and help his 6er get her voice back. With X Pipe and resonator delete, she'll scream her guts out....that is if Mans Exhaust willing to go through another one full day of hard labourous work.

Once done, Bobby's 6er will screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

can we meet you at your convience cos my exhaust sound is terrible. i had 2 straight pipe instead of your cross pipe, it should sound more or less the same. but mine is rubbish. The worst part is that the sound is not constance, at very low rmp it got a very funny sound like lorry with broken exhaust , at high rev i don't think is loud at all. we can get bobby and barry to come along as well.
sad but true i am totally unsatisfied.

Wilson my dear friend, every morning I fire up the 6er, I have to open my gates, pop out to make sure no TP around...LOL...hahahahahaha....

It's freaking loud. Even the FM starting to suspect something is different.

TT20, your experience with eisenmann on your 6er sounds like something is wrong. For mine, the cold start is absolutely ballsy. But then it idles to an almost silent note, which completely suprises me. Sure thing, we should meet up, perhaps at the cp near Mans so that I get an excuse to have bar chor mee again....my treat again eh Wilson?

Will try to get a video clip of the cold start, maybe sound quality will be better.
