EML and ASC Light

Hi!

I owned an E46 328i, Both of the ASC and EML lights up and I cant go past 40km/h.. I spoke to a mechanic and he told me that I havet o change the computer box costing about SGD1000. I think he's trying to rip me off, caused he didn't really check.. anyone have encounter the same thing please help.. thanks

Get a competent workshop to read the error codes, and diagnose from there. Don't tikam-tikam change-here-change-there

It could be as simple as a ASC sensor... good luck, and let us know how it goes.

E46 should be common, and you can do it outside of AutoBavaria. I remember my cousin going to one near PJ SS2, I'll try and get the contacts from him.

Else, there's always Singapore... hahaha
