encountering bee bee...alert sound when driving....

After the bird shit saga... am experiencing some strange thingy when driving...

I noticed this two days ago.. on Tuesday morning, half way thru my driving.. I heard "Bee".. "bee" sound. I counted 5 short bee..

It's not those normal alert sound that you will hear but just plain bee bee bee..

I encountered 4 more times (tues evening, wed morning/evening and just now)...and all 4 times, it is exactly 5 bee bee sound..

I have checked the car and found nothing wrong.. no error code too.

Am drivimg Dec 06 E90.

Have anyone here encountering this before?

Nope... it is from inside... quite sure not from wheel..

If sensitive to noise, drive Lexus better.

I luv all the creaking sound from BMW. It is proof of the chassis toughness.

how fast you driving when you encounter the sounds?
in my previous car, when I was speeding on NS highway, I encountered some high pitch sounds which was due to the wind being forced through the gaps of the car.
So if you encountered the sounds when driving fast on expressway, it might be due to the rubber seals on the door(s) not giving a proper seal anymore which results in air being forced through and making the sound.

when i was driving the NSH. i had my windows down. i encountered BEES/DRAGONFLIES/BUTTERFLIES/CRICKET/MANTIS/HORNED BEETLES/LADYBIRDS (cute ones).....

it should be your hourly alert. check your time settings in your car. I have it set to tell me the hour has passed in my E60
