Engine Oil - Motul or Mobil 1

Hi bros,

I have always lt PML use whatever engine they choose to use, which I understand is the Castrol ones.

Heard very good review about Mobil 1 and Motul.

Leaning towards Motul.

Questions:
1. Which would you prefer?
2. If Motul, which one?
3. Can advise where I can get the Motul engine oils?

If for daily driving, mobil 1 should do. If both are same price, I'll buy motul. You can't tell the difference anyway. My 2 cents.

The only way to tell the difference is to do used oli analysis.

Any problem with using Motul which doesn't really support the BMW ll std?

Motul is more expensive by the way.

Mobil 1 is safe safe choice lah.... I used to use Amsoil... Recently switched to Mobil1 to save $$$... I guess it's inexpensive enough to not feel too painful, yet reputable enough to give me the confidence of usage...

When I was driving camry last time , I used to stick with 5w30 motul h tech If I remember correctly .. Immediate feel the big different from Toyota stock oil .. But don think this oil can use on BMW cos not meet BMW standard ... Any bro try motul on BMW By the way ??

Amsoil best! Makes your ride more refined

Any brand of engine oil (be it Mobil or Motul) are able to use on yur love rides.

PML / MA will not reject yur own oil during servicing.

Some stick with certain brands & some will move on.. For me, price affordable = mid range performance engine oil.. (non standard market type)

- HKS, Torco SR5 (for my E90)
- Amsoil, Royal purple, KIC, Bizol, Texas, idemitsu, HKS, motul (for my GD1 [JDM])

My car on 300v 5w40 but......jiak ooooo you.
Smooth or not is depends on what oil you use last time.
