Those are wheel bolts....not wheel studs.

Damn dangerous if you were driving around with only 3 bolts tighten on 1 wheel...assuming 5 pcd

I suspect the bolts were not fastened with a torque wrench....... or not enuff turns to secure ......

Normally the tyre shop will lightly tighten by hand when the car is hoisted and then when the car is down on the ground, they will complete the tightening with torque wrench. Most likely they forgot to tighten when they put the car down. Nearly happened to me before...
