Experience with Spacers

Re: Experience with Spacers

I had them on for a few days runnin with 19" rims.

Took them out after that. Personal preference, that's all

Steering felt slightly heavier with them on. Wheels appeared more flushed with car body.

Stock is the best

Re: Experience with Spacers

I have spacers on bought from Turner Motorsports. Their spacers are solid. No vibrations at all.

Re: Experience with Spacers

i had spacers on previous car before, no issue. hellaflush

Re: Experience with Spacers

I had very big spacers on my ex car E60 front 25mm rear 40mm.. No problem .. Only the era fenders I need to roll.. I am running on 19inch rims.

Re: Experience with Spacers

I used it for my previous car travelled 140km/h up north. No problem. Make sure it's hub centric.

Re: Experience with Spacers

I'm guessing its for aesthetics? Car definitely look more aggressive with spacers on.

Re: Experience with Spacers

i took it out just only one day after trying it.

I felt that my ride was too bumpy for me.

It was hub centric though.

Personal preference.

A bro took over from me.

And he said he feel okay, not so bumpy as i described.

Personal preference.

Hmm... funny. I wonder why Spacers contribute to the bumpiness. It shouldn't affect your ride quality theoretically unless your changed your rims and tyre profile or lower your car. You should feel more stable with spacers on since it jut out the rims...

That is correct, i did all those you mentioned, even with those on, the workshop told me it should be fine, but subject to my own comfort level, some people may not like it...

I am not sure whether all those mentioned attributable to the bumpiness......

Re: Experience with Spacers

I been using breyton spacer and rim for my E60 and so far no problem at all. Been travel in NSHW at 200km/h+ and no vibration at all.

Re: Experience with Spacers

bro can i know how much is the cost for the spacer? 20 inch breyton rims.... thanks

Re: Experience with Spacers

if u run hubcentric spaces with matching longer lug nuts, no problem.

but i would keep it at a maximum of 20mm to be safe.

Re: Experience with Spacers

No issue with spacers provided the spacers are hub centric. Driven my E46M3 near the speed limiter and no issue whatsoever. I was on Rogue Engineering spacers.
Go buy those good brands such as Eibach, H&R, Turner Motorsport or Roque Engineering...
They work well.
Having said that, I would not put anything that is more than 20mm.

Re: Experience with Spacers

the fun of modding is to experience it yourself haha
