Bro, just to share my experience, as I had purchase the extended warranty + service package from MA (it is called BMW Utimate Warranty) a few months back.
The Warranty package is not tied exclusively to MA, i.e. it will be honoured by PML as well.
In general terms, it covers everything except for tyres. However, some items replacements (e.g. wipers) are based on scheduled servicing/replacements.
There will be a lead time for them to register this warranty (~ 2 weeks), as such you should consider this lead time before you send your ride for the scheduled service, in order for the servicing to be covered under this warranty.

Quite true ...... Engine overhaul or gearbox issue cost about there each so why assume it will happen.
Wear and tear items not covered so cannot claim warranty - bushings, mounts, control arms etc. So why get a warranty now ?

I feel you should take it before something bad happen. My bad experience with my 318i many years back, it broke down more than 10 times due to faulty air con compressor, electronic parts dat makes the car stall.

Hi guys, i am a newbie in this forum and i can't post thread. I need advise on RIMS as i intend to change my 520i 17" stock rims to a 19". any place to suggest to go to that is reasonably price? any effect on the car if change to 19" Rims? I apologise to interrupt.
