Re: F07 reviews
Hi bro,
The F07 GT is actually a mixed of a few cars and the styling is something that is subjective; Some likes and some doesn't. Afterall, its an individual choice as its in the eye of the beholder.
First of all, it shares primarily the same engine as the F10 535i (though there is a 550i variant) which gives a decent punch with 306hp and 400nm of torque.
From what I understood from the salesman, its based on a 7 series SWB platform thus has a rear air suspension that is self-leveling (it will pump up if there are load behind to a pre-set height). The wheel size is also same size as the 7 so just keep that in mind when going for rims (max is 22inch 22R30 front and 22R25 rear) and I was reading on some forum that certain parts of the software coding are also based on 7 series instead of the 5 series.
The frameless windows, large sun roof and a much higher head room makes the cabin rather spacious and the rear seats also has adjustment for forward/backward and recline to get a comfortable seating position for longer drives. Having said that, its quite a 4 seater as the fifth passenger will find the centre back rest a tad on the hard side.
Due to the height of the car, getting in and out is a breeze even when lowered, much like in the case of an MPV (getting out of the car is a easy swing / fling of your legs out of the car and stand up).
Options wise from agent is aplenty... HUD, auto sunshade on rear doors, soft-close etc.
Hope this helps...
