Most turbo di petrol engine 4-6 cylinders will not be penalised. Some even get discount...

You will only be given the full 20k penalty if you are looking at super luxury or cars with horse or bull on the bonnet. Aiyo what is 20k when you are looking at a car that cost a mil? Hearsay some mid size jap sedans like teana will also tio 5-10k.

Ya if I am not wrong, I heard the SE mentioning of some savings we would probably get to enjoy in terms of tax savings.
But i dunno if i heard it correctly cos he was speaking to my dad while i was ransacking the showroom car. Been hearing on the radio about tax savings instead of being hoot one time 20k. They keep using the phrase, "Savings of up to 20k!".

I should go ask an SE to explain to me properly about this. Suddenly feel very "sua koo"

You should check out the Merc E class and come back and tell us about the leg room. In fact, if the car is for your dad, I'd just get the E class (unless you have some hidden agenda :)). I would think it's a better car in terms of comfort and noise. The only thing is that the E class always has that "ah pek" image built it.

And yes, I don't know why, but somehow sitting in the rear in the f10 is always nauseating. I've sat in a few f10s and noticed the same.

hahaha...how u know i have hidden agenda! I was hoping he buy the f10, then without him knowing, send it to "zeng" to come out looking like a 535/M5....or close to what MW has! =p
Then after that, he will complain to me the car looks too "Hiong" (fierce) on him then swop my 3 series with his. Then Mission accomplished.
muahahahahaha.... :D

but i agree....E class sibei uncle look la..especially the 4 doors...best if its in white too...people will flag while you cruising along orchard road. I do think the merc suits my dad better actually...and he likes it personally but he wants the AMG kit to differentiate the car from taxis. However, not sure about the technology of merc E class versus to the f10s.

maybe I shld pay a visit....who wanna convoy to merc showroom? haha..

Hahaha... If I were you, I'd aim directly to get the 535 then. If you want to do it, might as well do it big. :)

But honestly, the E class is a solid car. Should give it a shot.

Up to 20k is the "potential" only, just like PML ad for 328 @ $199k .... terms and condition apply

Honestly, I find the E-Class interior rather dated and boring, sure get sianz of it pretty soon. Also dun have Comand/Nav for E200/250.
Have to wait for the next gen if really want.

if i understand correctly, whatever rebate you get for carbon emmission is deducted from PARF value...so end up no savings.

No, think should be something like every 10k you save 4.5k as you pay 10k less tax and get get 5.5k less rebate...plus you save $188 p.a. on interest because loan amount is lowered by 10k...significant or not is up to you loh...

The current e class comes with AMG kit Liao. I know because I jumped ship from F10 to merc
