F10 528i exhaust

Re: F10 528i exhaust

Hi guys,

I am deciding between these quad exhaust (LTA approved) for my BMW F10 528:

1)Remus
2)Supersprint
3)Kelleners
4)Eisenmann

Eisenmann is so far the most exp. I dont know why it cost so much more than the rest. Heard some good reviews for Kelleners and Supersprint too. Can someone kindly share their opinions?

Re: F10 528i exhaust

I am on Kelleners quad and sounds good........... When floor the accelerator, the exhaust sound sporty. Price is between Supersprint and Eisenmann.

Re: F10 528i exhaust

Re: F10 528i exhaust

No droning for eisenmann quad xos on a N20T. I also tried supersprint quad xos on a 523i and no droning as well. The difference is eisenmann produces louder bassy note than supersprint at cold start, idling or high revs. Eisenmann twin or quad xos is approved by LTA if you buy from our authorised sponsor Unicorn as stated by them in this forum.

Fyi, droning happens if you install catback xos system. In our applications, they are just rear mufflers with tailpipes. Im not an expert but paid alot to learn such valuable lessons on different rides. Hope this helps.

Hi, may sound lame, but am thinking of changing my 535i back fender/exhaust just to make it look better.... can i just ask the workshop to fit it on but not connect it to the engine? Is that legal?

You mean adding a fake tip to look like a quad exhaust? If yes, why not do the real deal instead? Just need to get LTA approved ones.

Any non-original exhaust without LTA approval is illegal, they don't care if it's just cosmetic.

I thought they will measure the sound level and fumes by putting a metal pipes into the exhaust?

Hi mate,

What did u finally get?
I'm currently on Eisenmann quad (no droning & LTA approved) for my 528 N20T but wife thinks it's a little too loud (bassy) so I'm thinking of letting it go cheap...
Currently considering Kelleners or Remus...but still reading up and can't decide yet....
