F10 535i or Audi S5 Sportback

Went to test drive the S5 Sportback today - what a beautiful car and what can I say about the supercharged engine with virtually zero turbolag. The Quattro handling was flawless to the point of being a little boring. Didn't get to test drive a model with the sports differential though. Added to this was the boring exhaust note when compared to that of the Beemer's twin fitted turbo's snap crackle and pop. The audi also offered value for money where the number of driving options was mind boggling. Added to this, the interior was the usual Audi high standards with beautifully handstiched edges. Metallic black exterior coupled with Red/Black two tone leather seats and the special indent 19in rims - puts the CLS to shame and the Passat CC into the bin.

So the question is, for the same price, would you go for a PI 535i or a S5 Sportback?? (Both similar OMV) Oh and I would say that the S5 for this price would come with the sports differential thrown in.

Get an Imola yellow or Sprint blue S4 w mTm upgrade instead.

Else between the 2, I say go for 535 then sell to me cheap cheap when you get tired of it in a year's time.

i will agree with wesley to take the S4...
i feel the S5 sportsback got kind of a weird personality..

but when compare 535 and S5 sportsback, 535 =)

Btw guys forgot to add that the only reason I would switch to a 4 door is to carry Mom's cronies occasionally. Added to that is the fact that I am getting older (though I like to think looks betray my true age he he) and its gets a little difficult occasionally to clamber out of a coupe in narrow lots cos the coupe's doors are longer.

In other words, I don't really need a big sedan.

for me, S5 could be a better choice if OMV same ..

How did the 535i drive/handle compared to the S5?

Not saying that a BMW 5 series is very reliable, but how is the S5's reliability generally, compared to a 5 series?

I'll go for the S5. The F10 looks too boring and very much like a E90 from the front. Dun want people to say pay so much for a 3series!!!...hahaha....

I feel that BMW is getting complacent while Audi keeps innovating. Sorry BMW.

Since change every 2 years and looks like you prefer the S5 on all counts, why not just go for the S5?

Always been a fan of the S5 body and now the new 5 series body design is kinda missing something. So i guess the S5 is the way to go for me now
