F10 door handle comfort access faulty

One of my door handle comfort access is faulty and I cannot lock from that handle. Has anyone experienced this and replaced with door handles bought online?

2 issues possible Handle vs Actuator lock fault do be sure to check which one is which.

If the door can still be locked with the remote then its a handle issue.
If the lock totally won't work then its a door lock actuator issue.

The door still can be locked. Nevertheless will check with workshop. Thanks for the info.

Having similiar issue as you. Driver side handle cannot use comfort access.
All other door handles working fine.
Able to lock with remote without issues as well.

Could you update with how you manage to fix it?

hi, went to workshop, was informed the sensor is faulty. There's only original sensor from BMW and no OEM sensor available. It costs $700+ so I decided its not worth it. In the end I ask the workshop to disable the comfort access for that door.

If yours is driver side, maybe it will be inconvenient to disable? Maybe you should ask your workshop for advice.

Aliexpress the door handle sensor less then $50. once you get the sensor just replace the outer shell with your orignal and tada comfort access again
