F10 Leather Seats Issue

[BMW FOREVER]

I have a 1 year old F10 with 5.8K mileage, I noticed that the driver side seat the leather in some spots has worn out...the dakota leather is kinda rough to touch when new (has diamond pattern) but in some spots its become very smooth...see pics attached. Is this normal? Covered under warranty?

hard to claim for this ... AD will tell you different "bum" may result different worn out rate ...

Sorry to hijack your thread.

Does anyone have any issues with squeaky seats?

My passenger seat keeps rubbing on the side of the centre console when it is not occupied.

hard, unless stitches come off. this is considered wear and tear.

Do u clean your seats often?
My previous ride had light brown leather.
My boys always climb onto e seats with their shoes on, causing stains. As a result I cleaned my seats almost every week. This resulted in some patches getting smooth after some time.

Mine had squeaks, but its caused by the plastic "flap" by the sides.
Applied leather cream around e flap n no sound after that.

Don't see my seat touching the ctr console thou

Hi.... My cars all come with black leather interior.... Can go jackspeed wrap the interior with black leather... Of same grain, texture and quality?

It's normal.

Just got mine rewrapped by PML as under warranty. Not before having to drop an email to the CEO of BMW Asia to get PML to acknowledge the warranty claim. Now very happy to see the vrigin seat.
