F10 new shocks question

I just fitted new Bilstein B4 with all associated components on all 4 corners. Also changed the front tension struts and lower arms as per advice.

Ride is great but notice the front seem to be higher. Previously with leaky front shocks but ok rear shocks, the front gap from tyre to wheel arc is 2.5-3 fingers and rear also 3 fingers. Now it is 4-4.5 fingers front and 3 fingers rear. So the front is raise by 1”. Is this similar experience for F10 owners here?

I heard that new shocks will need some run-in so will the height drop? How long is a typical run-in?

Absorbers have no run in period. Ride height is dependent on your springs nothing to do with the absorbers

I noticed the ride height didn’t change after driving for 200km. Since I’m not alone here with 4.5 fingers, it must be my previous leaking shocks sank down. Thank guys
