anyway, if you go outside workshop, most will poison you M5 mirror la ... no one mod "stock" mirror
auto fold, auto dim, sibei swee ... less than $4K nia
still got $4k spare cash - ho say bo?
for m5 mirror, check with elebest, jdm and j's magic
if you really want stock auto-fold, check out engsoon for the parts and go to any workshop to install
this might save some cost if you can reuse some existing parts ie: the mirror cover, casing, may be the mirror too, etc

any workshop can do...I did mine at J's magic when I took it there for spray painting, but I didn't activate the lane change warning or helicopter view modules...cos I didn't need them...so its a bare mirror with auto fold and dimming.
Hey Guys. After doing all the research and have been shopping around, I finally did my installation yesterday @ Juzz for Car. Surprisingly, these guys have done almost everything except installation of power side mirrors. So for being the guinea pig, I guessed they've offered me this irresistible price - $2,600 (including GST) for:-
- a pair of F10/523 LCi Foldable Wing Mirrors complete with driver's door block switch + installation.
Let me repeat that again. It was an LCi version that I got instead of just the generic ones. That's a double celebration indeed.
And this being their first installation, the workmanship was nothing short of excellence. Definitely a good workshop to start if you need anything bimmer.
And thanks to everyone here who have responded to my search of getting my side mirrors powered.
Actually that is the max I want to spend for these mirrors. Anyway, thanks MW.
Sorry one more question.
I was also looking to improve the sound system by installing tweeters but according to some experts, this is not advisable as it will damage your existing system in a long run.
What I'm afraid is that - this is another sale ploy by these so-called sound experts to get me to change the whole sound system instead.
What say you?
