i just took delivery of my car, so the car have not even gone for its first wash...which is why i called my sa to arrange for a full diagnosis, i even email my sa so it is documented, better be kiasu than sorry. it is quite shocking to experience this on a brand new car although it could be an isolated incident, i pray my car is not the >0.1% defected lot

F10 comes as a smart car...it has many features to warrant the safety aspect. Sometimes we accidentally trigger some procedure wrongly and warning lights comes up. But your last statement is true, one's car could be the 0.1% that comes with that only problem. Mine had to change the entire air con unit as there was a micro leak in the system and the ride was less that 4 months old. Lucky under warranty but down for 5 days !
From my experience, the electrical system is very sensitive as mentioned by one of the posts. If you have a punctured tyre, same thing goes. All lights come up, ABS and etc, u name it. your steering gets stiffer due to the safety measure implemented in the system. As the system measures your tyres pressure automatically, it had sensed the fault and restrict your steering to prevent accident.
Nevertheless, it is an exciting car to run especially in sport mode!
