Hey clar, I have been thinking of the new 6, and the old 6 with the v8 NA.
As I swear by NA if I were to have only 1 vehicle, I am still left stranded!
As much as I like the front, and the more sophisticated interior of the new 6,
the rear lacks some dimension to me. Will the looks buy you over? It's a struggle to me.

I don't like big coupes, but the new 6 is a beauty. Yes, even the non M 6 series is a beauty. Looks are subjective I know, but personally, i like nothing on the prev 6 esp the looks. I am not a fan of Chris Bangle. If i were u, my choice would be easy. The engine part might be a bit hard for u to let go and i can understand. Give the new M6 a try when it's here. The power might just corrupt u enough to take the plunge

Mai tu liao u guys!!! If u are in the market for a GT, the current 6 is really a great choice. With looks like these, what more can u ask for? The M6, even more steam! Every time i stare at that pic, some crazy thot comes to mind and i gotta summon my limited amt of good sense to quell it

Errrrr..... I haven't had the balls to tell her anything at all..... in the end, nothing may happen. Besides, it really depends on what kind of deal comes up. Truth be told, I'm already madly in love with my F13 as it is. Just yesterday, and just on comfort mode, I managed to make the back wheels spin and squeal and the car's tail wagged just before the DSC icon flashed, as I sped out of a junction and headed uphill (those who live near 6th avenue will know what I'm talking about). 450Nm of twist from 1300rpm seriously no joke (OK, maybe more than 450Nm, after the Chocolate Cookie Chip thingee

Fat and Heavy. More roll than 911. Goes like a GTR convertible. Stops well but may not be repeatable.
Nice cabin. Very sophisticated spacey. Let down by poor steering wheel paddle action. Some how, BMW just can't get that part right. They should go pull on the new AMG ones with progressive resistance.
Sounds super though, but any V8 convertible will sound awesome with the top down. Definitely a different exhaust system from the M5.

I reckon Tanzy's smacked the nail right on the head with that review. One of the biggest concerns I have (apart from having to kneel on durian shells for the rest of my miserable life) is I end up shelling out 1/2 a million bucks for a bloated barge that slurps fuel like it's going out of fashion.
As a grand tourer, the basic F13 in both engine variants is already plenty fine... and if I were to be moved to add the letter "M" in front of the 6, the M6 coupe will definitely have to do more than just push my asscheeks into the seat in a straight line at 40Tiang. We'll see when the car hits our shores in Sept/Oct
