F30 316i new owner

Same same but different.

N18 in Mini Cooper S/JCW/GP is twin scroll twin turbo.

N18 in BMW is called N13. Twin scroll single turbo.

Hi bro . N18 MINI has one turbo (twin scroll) only.

Since R56, Mini Cooper S has always been twin scroll twin turbo.

That's what differentiate what is used by BMW & Mini

By twin turbo, u mean there's two turbochargers? I'm so confused with the terms (Twin power, twin turbo, twin everything lol)

But yeah, definitely 1no. Turbocharger (Twin- Scroll). Open your bonnet, you see the turbocharger nearest to you liao.

I too also wish it's two turbos. the MINI sure fly man wahaha.

Nored.
We only discussing on the number of turbos in MINI la hahaha.
Pls dont use the mods for MINI unless specified it can be used on N13 BMW Engine.
Its essentially the same engine they both share.. but different components afterwards cos' one is traversely mounted and the other is longitudinally mounted.

Many chips out there .

Reviews on Race-chip and JB4 looks good . CodeWerx chip also pretty good from what I understand. Those stocking them are also reputable workshops here too .

There are many personal reviews on them in the forum . Perhaps choose one that you prefer aft reading them ?

Performance mods aside , rem to buy a gauge to monitor your car statistics if u entering the modding route .
